From stunningly handwoven Indigenous bags and bracelets to unique pottery and woolen ponchos, here are Colombia’s most beautiful artisan crafts. With a rich heritage of Indigenous crafts, access to beautiful raw materials and an exciting contemporary design scene.
Many of the Colombian artisans come from different indigenous groups, and have learned techniques to manufacture handicrafts passed down from older generations. Methods that are handed down are traditional and unchanged in the creation process, which means that when you are buying a craft from a Colombian artisan, that craft is being made the same way it’s been made for centuries. This helps to keep the authenticity and uniqueness of Colombian crafts.

The Tagua ring is made of a natural seed which is called Tagua. It is carved by hand and dyed with food coloring. The shiny luster is natural, we don't use resins. Tagua is a wild fruit, which grows in tropical forests in Colombia under the canopy of other trees that provide it with shade. It is almost impossible to reproduce the conditions and type of soil in which it is able to grow, therefore, all Tagua is harvested from wild sources. Due to its plant-based origin and its physical similarity to ivory, Tagua is a sustainable substitute for items traditionally made from the tusks and teeth of elephants and whales.
